Hedgemon
is focused on developing Impact protection for sports equipment along other
markets, incorporating biomimicry methodologies; emulating natural models. To escape predators while foraging insects, Hedgehogs curl up into a ball and fall
from trees (unharmed). Through the study of their system of spines and internal
morphology we have abstracted this concept and translated it for human
activities, including sports safety, and to accommodate manufacturing processes.

Hedgehog spines
Analyzing the functional systems of a hedgehog revealed 3 primary areas of study: Morphology Active muscular tissue systems Passive spine pattern and density systems
